Chen Zhiqiang, born in 1974, at the birth land of Taijiquan-Chenjiagou, Wen County,Henan Province, is the 19^th  generation lineage holder and one of the Eight Masters of Chen Family Taijiquan. He is conferred a senior national Wushu referee, physical instructor of national grade,the 6^th grading of Wushu, senior natonal Wushu coach and excellent coach. He acts as an executive director of Wen County Wushu Association, president & chief coach of Chenjiagou Taijiquan Research Association, general coach of Chen Zhiqiang Taijiquan Promoting Center in Guangzhou. He is elected committee member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference of Huadu District of Guangzhou and is honored for his work in promoting Taijiquan in Guangdong.

He has practiced Chen Family Taijiquan, weapons and hand-pushing since he was a child. He won the champions in provincial, national and international Wushu competitions for over 20 times. He was the continuing champion of hand-pushing of Taijiquan in the National Wushu Championship Competition from 1995 to 1997. In the past few years, he has invited to all parts of the world to promote Taijiquan. Thousands of people follow him, many of whom won medals in all kinds of competitions. Form 1992 he has been invited as a great master to perform Taijiquan in many competitions and activities. He acted as a referee and chief judge in national and international Wushu competitions. He also acts as a consultant, honorary head coach and honorary president in tens of Taijiquan associations at home and abroad. His performances of Taijiquan were made into DVDs as teaching materials by People Sports Electronic & Audiovisual Press. His name is in the list of Dictionary of Chinese Taijiquan, Encyclopaedia of Chinese Taijiquan, Great Masters of Chinese Taijiquan, Chenjiagou-the Holy Land of Taiji and he was reported by several newspapers, magazines and media. Some of his professional papers have been published in several magazines like Chinese Wushu, Shaolin & Taiji.
